Our Purpose
The purpose of the Danville Church of Christ is to glorify God by bringing people into his family, the teaching of his word, preparing his people for works of service, and building relationships through the fellowship of believers.
What We Believe
- Jesus died for our sins and it is only through Him that we may receive the gift of everlasting life
- Salvation comes as a result of hearing and believing on the Word of God (Romans 10:17), repenting of our sins (Acts 2:38; Luke 13:13), confessing Jesus as Lord (Romans 10:10), and being baptized into the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit for the remission of sins (Matthew 28:19; Acts 2:38; Acts 22:16)
- The Bible is God's inspired and infallible Word
- A person grows closer to the Lord through the study of God's Word and fellowship with like believers
